OTTAWA, Oct. 23, 2018 /CNW/ – Intouch Insight Ltd. (« Intouch ») (TSXV:INX.V – News) today announced that it has developed new mystery shopping programs for cannabis compliance. These programs will help cannabis retailers monitor and enforce compliance with sales laws and regulations.
With cannabis now legal in Canada and nine states in the United States, retailers will be responsible for adhering to the different laws and regulations around how cannabis can be distributed and sold within their jurisdiction. CIBC analysts estimate that the legal cannabis market in Canada will reach $6.5 billion by 2020, and the Canadian government predicts that market will have as many 450,000 customers a day.
